After Fedro is an emotive music project founded by Mark Jelli. Born as a degree project in Jazz Performance at The London College Of Music, AF aims to redefine the traditional guitar trio by blending club-oriented beats with ethereal guitar lines. The continuous evolution and research make this sound constantly evolving. The band’s stable line-up consists of Mauro Mussoni on double bass and Manuel Giovannetti on drums. The firsts two singles are now out on WoW Records.

I think jazz as a continuous interweaving of sound elements that cannot be confined in one definition. From my earliest studies of gipsy and Django Reinhardt’s jazz I learned how borders are not only a system of division and divergence, but points of transit and exchange.“
